Click a feature below to see how their free plans stack up dynamically.
Systeme.io
Send as many emails, newsletters, and automated campaigns as you want every single month without hitting a ceiling.
Sender
Capped strictly at 15,000 emails per month. If you have a maximum list size, you can only blast them 6 times a month.
Systeme.io
Allows up to 2,000 clean, active subscribers on your list before forcing you onto a paid tier.
Sender
Slightly more generous capacity. You can store up to 2,500 subscribers on the free-forever plan.
Systeme.io
Includes 3 full sales funnels, 15 page steps, custom order bumps, 1-click upsells, and unlimited file storage space.
Sender
Built primarily for standalone landing pages and popups. It lacks complex checkout flows, upsell chains, or deep sales funnels.
Choose Systeme.io if:
You want to build absolute automated sales funnels, host an online course, set up a checkout system, and need to send endless bulk emails to your audience without restrictions.

My Honest Experience Using Sender.net For Free Email Marketing Automation
I've used Sender for maybe a year, and what I liked about it is that it was free and I built an email list of 60+ people.
What I didn't like about Sender is that it's a little clunky to use.
Meaning I got all these messages, and if I wanted to add a message between 2, if I wasn't careful, all the messages would get deleted.
Still, that's not the end of the world.
Then 1 day, I couldn't log in to Sender.net, so I sent them an email.
They responded that their platform does not support affiliate marketing. Wow, what a bummer, right? Good thing I saved all my messages before posting on Sender.
In fact, I highly recommend saving all your messages off the platform, in case something like this happens to you.
So what I did was respond, "ok, I respect your decision, can I have the list so I can move to a platform that does support my business model?"
Then someone responded by saying, "It was an error on our system, and you can log in now." Which was true, I was able to log in.
Still, the first thing I did was download the list of subscribers, in case the website goes dark again.
To do that, on the left, I clicked subscribers, then checked all, then hit action, and then clicked "export to CSV"

In fact, this might be a good thing to do every often.
The Honest Pros and Cons of the Systeme.io Free Forever Plan
After playing around with Systeme.io, I do say I like it more.
The largest con with Systeme.io on the landing page is that I'm forced to put an affiliate link on the form. There is no WAY to get rid of this affiliate link "unless" I upgrade to a paid plan.

The good news is that with Systeme.io, it's a single opt-in box with Sender.net. I was forced to put an extra step if someone wanted to sign up.
I had to put this box; someone HAD to click agreeing to news and promotions.
Just on this part, I prefer Systeme.io.
The less friction there is to signing up, the better!
A third thing I like about Systeme.io is the disclaimer. ON Systeme.io, it's super easy to put this disclaimer at the bottom of all my emails, that some links may be affiliate links and I could get paid at no extra cost to you.
With Sender.net it was at the top, and I didn't like that.
A fourth reason I prefer Systeme.io to Sender is that with Systeme.io, I can send out as many emails as I want with the free plan, whereas with Sender, it's capped at 15,000 emails per month.
Still, 15,000 emails is A LOT of emails.
My Personal Experience Building and Launching a Free Funnel with Systeme.io
What I enjoy most about Systeme.io is how the automation works. You know, like, write some emails that automatically go out.
It's SO user-friendly. I can see all the emails I ever wrote, and I just have to scroll down a tiny bit. With Sender, I have to scroll and scroll, and 3 minutes later, I'm at the bottom.

I will say I'm new to Systeme.io, so we will see how it goes, BUT hey, it's free, right?
Oh, and the exit bounce, the page that pops up when someone is about to leave with Systeme.io, I have a video, and it's more customizable with Sender. I could not figure out how to put a video, and it wasn't as good.
Basically, I like Systeme.io MORE!
You might be wondering, " This is great, Kevin, but how do you earn money from these free funnel-building tools like Systeme.io?
How do you write emails so people want to open them?
The good news is I created a free cheat sheet that shares insider secrets on promoting items using email. This cheat sheet is awesome, and knowing these insider secrets helps a TON.
Plus, they are tons of fun to write. It removes the feeling of not knowing what to write! Blank screen syndrome!
They do improve open rates, clicks, and most importantly, sales, and it's FREE, so why not take a look and steal it?
